Our Head Chef
Wendy Reid-Carter - pronounced “WC” is the owner and Executive Chef at Ms. Coleman’s – A Taste of Alabama located in Battle Creek, Michigan. With inspired dishes like the Saban Shrimp and Grits, Waddle Chicken and Waffles, Hurst Ham and Cheese Hoagie, Crimson Shredded Chicken, and the “Mack” Jones Mac and Cheese, Ms. Coleman’s Head Chef WC has become renowned for her culinary skills. Her high standards have set a new paradigm within Western Michigan. Taught by Ms. Coleman herself, WC’s story is an inspiring one of someone who fought against all odds to follow her passion of becoming a professional Chef.
